Who Are We?

Zeducation is a social enterprise that is Maori and Pasifika owned and led. Our mission is to "unleash people's greatness" through education. We want to help people within the community and workplace to develop their skills and progress in their careers.

What is Our Project?

Our main objective for this project is to launch a mobile learning app within the next 3 - 4 months with 2 online courses that are FREE for the public.

These first two FREE courses will be:

1. Money Smart: Effective Budgeting (Financial Literacy)

2. Finding Your Voice: How to be Assertive and Confident in your communication (Literacy)

We will use the capital funds that we gain to do research, design the online course and build it onto the platform.

The content for the online app courses will include things such as ....
o Custom videos
o Custom Images
o Reading material
o Assessments or quizes
o Downloadable resources
o Badge Rewards for certification for completing courses

What Are The Benefits of A Mobile Learning App?

• Micro-learning modules can increase retention rates by up to 80%.

• In a survey conducted by Udemy, 67% of respondents said that they preferred learning on their mobile devices, as it allowed them to fit their learning around their busy schedules.

• According to a report by Docebo, 61% said that they preferred learning in small bursts.

What Is Our Vision and Plan For The Future?

Our primary goal is to enable more New Zealanders to find more fulfillment and progress in their careers by offering them a platform to enhance their skills, knowledge and career progression.

The vision is to have a variety of learning topics on our mobile learning app such as leadership, wellbeing, health and safety, tech, financial literacy that is accessible and mobile friendly for eveyone.

What Progress Have We Made So Far?

We have conducted extensive research to identify the optimal features and design for our mobile learning app, and subsequently piloted a minimum viable product (MVP) with a group of 40 participants. There has been some positive feedback. However, we need help raising capital to help us build quality content.
