About

NZ Gaming Industry Growth Fund

Project 2021-08-31 15:48:14 +1200

I have set up a website and business to establish the foundations for a gaming industry in NZ. The website is GamersBattleArena.com and the company is Gamers Battle Arena Limited. I hope to give the public opportunities and a direct avenue to further their selves within a gaming/streaming career. I would like to see all our gaming organizations under one roof. I have partnered with local companies to strengthen our connectivity and growth within the industry, by doing this I can offer the community opportunities they may find difficult to achieve on their own - such as 10% discounts, product reviews and personal partnerships. I begun the community as a means to support my 11yr old sons dreams and provide a positive enviroment for him and his friends, we live rural far away from his friends so his social interaction is limited to school, sports and online but we are on ADSL so streaming for him didn't turn out too well and lead me to reaching out to the wider community. GBA now has over 400 members and supports over 30 streamers within NZ and a number growing by the day around the rest of the world. In return, but not expected - they help to get our name out to the public, they appreciate what I do and so do the public which fills me with joy and makes me love what I'm doing! While being established, I have learnt that our economy is being fed upon by foreign corporations, those same corporations are neglecting our gaming industry and turning away our smaller local companies which are asking them for support by simply using a window to display an event that benefits our locals and youth. These corporations such as GameStop, owners various companies like EB Games & Kogan, owners of various companies like Dicksmith and Mighty Ape, will tell the world that they are supporting our communities and giving back to the industries they reap from. But will not respond to my Emails or Phone calls which I have simply asked "how do you support the NZ gaming industry?". The best response I have got is from the customer care teams apologizing because they do not have an answer for my question. I find this to be very unfair and unjust, so I wish to rid NZ of this pandemic but at this stage, I am but a 'whisper in the woods'. In conclusion, I would like to see NZ where the rest of the world is in terms of a gaming industry and made available to the public at the press of a button! Thank you for your time and consideration, I hope I have detailed enough of my vision and if you would like to know more, shoot me an Email at [email protected] or call/text 0272599152. For the community! By the community!
