Background
Pursuit Limited was established in October 2017. We could see that many people wanted to work but needed extra support to be better prepare. Our Founding Director Moira McGarva-Ratapu who has a background in Social Work had discovered that if people could get into employment that they would no longer need social services so, Pursuit was born to be a preventative measure to help our people become resilient, empowered and improve overall wellness through employment. We love assisting people in this space and want our people to rise and be successful. We have worked with over 900 people in the Hawkes Bay region but with your help we are wanting to reach up to 5000 job seekers this year through the Nohi platform by the end of 2021. Our motto is: We are making positive changes permanently!
Our Services
We provide professional CVs and cover letters, professional full outfit dressings for job interviews, job interview techniques, grooming gift packs, employment workshops and intensive pastoral care for 18 to 25 year old's.
Vision
Our vision is to increase the quality of life through employment.
What is Nohi?
Nohi is an employment platform that enables job seekers to create CVs, Cover letters and be matched with potential employers.
Our goal
We have provided our services currently to 900 + whānau throughout the Hawkes bay region and through Nohi we can exponentially grow those numbers, nationally and internationally.
How are we going to grow Nohi exponentially?
Our plan is to set up interactive digital kiosks in high traffic zones: Libraries,Tertiary providers, Council sites, Attend events anywhere and everywhere we can be an asset.
What will you do with the money raised?
The money raised will help us setup the employment kiosk around Hawkes Bay and other regions when needed. The cost per kiosk is $10,000 to $15,000 to set up, this includes the kiosk machine, WI-Fi and internet access, maintenance and technical support. We are hoping to have 5 set up in the Hawkes Bay region this year.
