Construction is well under way on the Alex Moore Park Sports and Community facility. This exciting new development has been over 10 years in the making, and recognises that our area is one of the fastest growing areas in Wellington, with a thriving sport and community culture, we will soon be home to a fantastic complex, comprising shared clubrooms, function areas, and facilities for the community to utilise for generations to come.
The new facility is due to open in March 2021 and to complete the fitout we need to raise $150,000 for the cost of scoreboard, tables, chairs, TV screens, kitchen facilities, meeting room and storage areas.
Your donation will go directly towards funding the fitout of the building, essential for the opening, day to day utilisation and ongoing benefit to the community and founding clubs.
To recognise your donation, your name will be etched onto the stunning masonry block wall in the entrance foyer, leaving a lasting legacy of your commitment and support to the community facility.
Varying levels of donation are available, with each level being recognised differently according to size:
Bronze 1 Brick $250
Silver 2 Bricks $500
Gold 4 Bricks $1000
Platinum 6 Bricks $2000
Alternatively, you may like to discuss a smaller, or larger donation, or even buying a table, chair(s) or other option - all with naming recognition, or on an anonymous basis. Contact Matt on 0223 077525 to discuss this.

With the support of Wellington City Council, Alex Moore Park Sport and Community Incorporated Society (AMPSCI), which represents five local clubs and organisations, have led the way to replace their old clubrooms that were costly liabilities, with a facility that is both state of the art and modest, specifically to serve as a community and sports hub for the Northern suburbs community.
The building is intended for use by the five founding sports clubs, other sporting, hobby and cultural groups, colleges, intermediate and primary schools, church groups and the general community. The existing individual clubrooms are underutilised and degraded. In fact, some have been demolished already!

The last 5 days!

With thanks to you, we have hit the PledgeMe campaign target and we are so grateful for your support!
The last 5 days of the campaign is really important for us as we look to continue momentum and encourage more supporters to pledge.
We would like to reach 300 pledgers in total - for which we are nearly half way there.
Feel free to nudge, tickle or shoulder tap anyone you think should be supporting this great community facility initiative - any donation will do!
Thanks again!
The last week of our PledgeMe campaign!
21/02/2021 at 8:06 PM
What a week - our pledge's more than doubled over the last 7 days, lifting us closer to our target!
This week I am going to ask a favour to help us out. You were one of the first to commit your support by making a pledge - thanks, we really appreciate you! It would be incredibly helpful if you could ask three people you know to donate to the cause. There are many levels of donation to choose from, including a minimum of $5, through to various levels of recognition.
We are now into the last week of our PledgeMe campaign which has a target of $50,000 but we would really like to raise $75,000 to ensure we can fit out the clubrooms as they deserve.
Nearly 100 people have pledged their support thus far, we would like to triple that this week and hit 300 pledgers by Sunday the 28th of February.
So, please forward/share this update with those you think deserve a nudge in the direction of Alex Moore Park.
Thanks!
