Creative Matters After School Art Programme
Project 2019-10-30 11:40:16 +1300
I'm Mandy Jakich, Founder and CEO of Creative Matters. Thank you for taking the time to read our Campaign.
This programme has been set up for children who would not normally get the opportunity to participate in an extra curricular activity such as this.
Our After School Art Programme for Children will provide fully funded weekly creative art classes for children aged 6 - 13 at St. Mary's School Avondale, a decile 3 school in Avondale, NZ.
Our workshops encourage creativity, teach visual arts techniques, develop visual arts skills throughout the creative process and allow children to express themselves artistically and creatively.
Our classes provide a safe, happy place for children to make positive connections, build relationships and boost their self esteem.
We would like the funding to cover 4 terms of art classes for 12 children each term, a total of 48 children.
We provide a worthwhile, creative opportunity for young people that they may not normally be exposed to and they would benefit greatly from creatively, artistically, socially and emotionally.
