We had the opportunity to give a signfiicant amount of money away before and it was a very rewarding experience. We plan to do this again through creating promotions that allow people to receive significant rewards. The more that is pledged the more we can give away.

We have just run a first prize promotion on our facebook page and given away $100 for spotting a virtual location - only took 5 clues. We think this is the format going forward - virtual competitions around places, products, events etc. 

The prize promotion is simple:

- After you pledge $10, to buy access to the digital photos you receive free entry to play in this promotion. We plan to run the promotion until Jan 2020 but want to extend this subject to receiving enough pldeges, beyond our goal. 

- The Invisible Man identifies a location/product/event monthly/weekly (dependent on support) and sends clues via our social media pages so that you can identify them

- You are the first to answer via a comment on Facebook and you with the prize promotion

- The first eligible person to ask wins at least $1,000, one prize promotion per location but multiple opportunities to win

- The competition starts once we reach our pledge amount of $10,000 and keeps going as long as people keep pledging

- If no one wins on a specific weekend the prize promotion rolls over to the next week and is added to the promotion for that week until we find a winner..

We need to reach our $10,000 pledge amount to start but we will keep accepting pledges above this and build the pool for the promotion and extend our travels. Our business plan is to give money away, to do this we have to generate income. We plan to to start making donations and investments into social causes, if we get to this $100,000 in pledges we can start to develop this as well as build out our platform. We will most likely move to a subscription model beyond Jan 2020 and look to expand the promotion to Australia, Europe, UK and USA. We will also start to work on digital promotions and have a lot of ideas for doing this. The causes we want to support locally are: rural NZ businesses, childrens welfare, education and skills training, social welfare and health.

Once we build a big enough community on social media we will invite brands, products and events to sponsor weeks of the competition to help build the prize promotion pool and extend the promotion period.

The family, friends and employees of The Invisible Man are not eligible to participate in the prize promotion nor are employees of PledgeMe. This project is not being run as a charity we will be paying our employees and helpers.
