I went to Kenya in April 2012 and came across a catchment area of 1000 people who are walking 10 km every day to get water during the dry season...for 5 months of the year....Water is a necessity for life..............during these 5 months none of the children are at school and the women cannot work in the gardens or around their home as they are spending all their time getting water.


I came home compelled to raise the money to dig them a well...................I have already raised $2,300 towards this project and am just wanting to finish it asap.

I am able to issue a charitable donations certificate for this that can be claimed back in taxes through my church trust.
