Last year I was lucky enough to win a scholarship to go to National Youth Drama School, and it changed my life to the point that i've moved high schools in order to follow my acting dream. I was pushed out of my comfort zone and showed what life outside of my teenage bubble is like. I was faced with mental and physical challenges that I thought I would never be able to overcome. I was accepted by each and every person at the school, and mde friends for life.
I want to go back again this year to see what else the school can offer me, but mum's a full time student and I've only recently become old enough to get a job, which isn't easy in this economy, so there is no way we can afford it.
I need to come up with $800 by the end of February. I've planned BBQ and raffle fundraisers and am putting a lot of time into them, but they won't make me enough money.
My team is merely my weak old mother, my friendly little cat and my fragile self. Help us.

Folks weve surpassed our first goal. We're ovewhelmed with the generousity of our friends and both of us are fully committed to give back to the community once we've got Mon to NYDs.
We still have $420 to fundraise to be able to go sop we have BBQ planned and some tempting baked goods on offer all over the place.
We'll keep you updated as we reach each hundred :D
