Hi! My name is Alisa. I"m a primary school teacher and am passionate about children and giving them the best opportunities in life. I have always had a the dream to volunteer in a third world country and help out children that really do need some love and attention.


I love teaching, but I do really feel like I can do more. Therefore I am planning on going to Thailand and volunteering in an orphanage and girls" home. 

What I need:

The organisation that I would like to go through requires a donation to help them continue doing the amazing work they do. I will need to raise $1,640 for my 6 weeks work at Friends for Asia (this includes my accommodation, food and public transport- I have already paid for my flights).

In this time I will work one on one with up to 50 refugee children and children that have been rescued out of prostitution.

Come to my high tea!

I have a passion for baking and cake decorating, so I am planning to have a fabulous High Tea in in Auckland in October to help with my fundraising (date TBA).


If you live outside the Auckland area, I can send some delicious home baking to you - see rewards on right.

Please help me achieve one of my life time dreams!
