Mia - Little Rhythmic Gymnast

A massive thank you to everyone who has supported us with your encouragement, sharing and pledging.
Mia is 9 years old and loves Rhythmic Gymnastics.
She's been doing rhythmic for about a year and a half now. Mia has excelled quickly, she has recently been moved from Levels into Stages/International grades. These grades are designed to prepare gymnasts to compete at an international level. Mia is currently the only Wellington gymnast competing in stages.
The sport is expensive, and with Mia's rapid improvements, the costs have been rapidly rising as well!! And so, Mia's mum is finding it more and more out of her reach to keep her going.
Fees include:
- A yearly affiliation fee.
- Term/holiday training fees.
- Competition entry fees.
- Specialised equipment and costumes, often unavailable in NZ and needing to be sourced from overseas (freight costs!!).
Competitions away include:
- Accommodation.
- Transport (to and from).
- Coach/Judge expenses.
Mia has worked very hard to get this far – Please help us make it count.
The funds we raise will clear this term's fees and the trip to the North Shore International Championships (Auckland). Anything beyond that will pay towards the following term.
