Kia ora everyone and welcome to our first ever pledge!

My name is Morgana Watson and I'm from New Plymouth, Taranaki, New Zealand.

We are raising funds to record and mix a 5-song EP Album in a studio in New Plymouth.  We also wish to film a 'behind-the-scenes' video and use that footage for a music video to go with one of the newly recorded songs.  This footage will also be used for promotional & press kit purposes.

The new EP Album will support up-coming tours and will also be available for sale on and off-line.

Hope you enjoy the video and please check out more of our music at:

WHO LIKES ICE CREAM

17/04/2012 at 9:45 PM

This update has nothing to do with our project - well I guess it does coz it's still music related...

I love chocolate-dipped, boysenberry ice cream.

And when I go buy one I only buy from Iona Dairy in New Plymouth because their servings are MASSIVE!

If I've thrashed my voice at a gig, I go get one of these famous-in-New-Plymouth ice creams and it's sooo refreshing and healing and yum.

So that's it - PLEDGE ME!

Only 2 weeks!

We're getting so excited and nervous about our EP!  Can't wait to get the ball rolling and get it all recorded and ready to distribute.  We are planning a Winter Tour around Taranaki and it's going to be our very tour together!

Things are on the rise and I'm keeping busy trying to promote us as well as strum that gat every day and work on perfecting all I do onstage.

Thanks for everyone's support so far!

Yay to be back!

Fantastic news!  Our Clarinetist, Urs Signer is back and rearing to go so when we record we can include him in as our 7th member for the EP!

Great that he and his whānau are home safe n' sound and we're really looking forward to jamming with him back in the studio and on stage!

27 Days and counting!

The gist so far...

I've been mulling over the right songs to put into the EP that best represents us and our diversity without the selection being a crazy combo...  There's one of our songs that has grown and evolved over our time together and I think it has a happy-sexy feel to it - however there's another funk/soul song that has got a serious bass-line to it that makes me think "Hmmm this might be the one...".

Despite having written hundreds of songs over the years, the truth of the matter is that only a small percentage of them make it to our setlist and now we have to condense that further for the EP.

So I had this idea that maybe I do acoustic demos of maybe 12-15 songs and let you all decide what you like?  Sort of like 'leave it to the people to vote on the material' - that way when you purchase it, you're getting what you want!

What do you think?
