Tohu Wear is the name of my clothing line i wish to create. My clothing line is very unique as you don't see my hand drawn designs in any other store. This clothing line is aimed at children NB-13 then hopefully down the line I can start looking at adult designs but right now my focus will be children. My vision is to provide children with a variety of nz maori design and maori words that corresponds with New Zealanders. For example, the wording "Rangatira" with a picture of a truck, "kuini" with a picture of a tiara, or as i have already designed "kuini" with a design of my own of a moko kauae repersentig the pureness of a baby. While having an online business that will reach all New Zealanders over the world I also have plans to attend events like kapa haka and music festivals, school galas, wananga events ect. I have so many ideas for tshirt designs that I can create, I have had a little start-up tester on Facebook that I created last year I got over 1,000 likes within 2 weeks and I've had people order what they wanted but due to high demand, and other obstacles I couldn't meet and had to stop until I found a solution. So now i'm ready to start this business opportunity and iv'e thought hard and long about my next steps, I've come up with the perfect solution. The market will be huge, every parent, aunty, nana ect wants to buy children clothing so having these unique clothing available will be a huge hit. I've decided i want to setup a screen print area at home so i can print my designs myself in the comfort of my home without having to travel elsewhere and having my special designs in a strangers computer where that person will be free to use and print his own tshirts using my designs. $5,800 is a minimum figure hopefully we can raise over this figure to kick-start this business hard and fast.
