Help Laurie Represent Paekawakawa!

Laurie Foon is proud to have called Berhampore home for 20 years. From pioneering ethical fashion in Aotearoa to helping build a values-driven business movement with the Sustainable Business Network, her strengths are connecting and listening, developing creative local solutions together. She believe Wellington can be the coolest little sustainable capital in the world through transitioning to a low carbon future that cares for people, supports local businesses and regenerates the environment. That's why she is running for the Wellington City Council in this year's local elections, representing the Paekawakawa Southern Ward.
Laurie's priorities:
Working towards zero waste
+ Embracing circular systems that re-use our resources and divert waste from landfill.
Growing good business
+ Supporting local, social and sustainable businesses to strengthen communities and move towards a low carbon economy.
Future-proofing our city
+ Ensuring urban growth integrates energy efficiency, water sensitive design, urban greening, safer cycling, EVs and car sharing.
But she needs your help to do this. Please donate to Laurie's campaign, to help make these changes for our city. We have listed some items you can buy to promote the campaign, and some events you can attend with us. Your generous contribution will help to fund billboards, flyers, and other ways to get the word out.
This is a way to be a part of #VoteLaurie, even if you do not live in Paekawakawa Southern Ward, and any contribution big or small will help.

Hi friends
Wow, I can't believe we made it! Doing a bit of a happy dance over here. Thanks from the bottom of my heart for pledging on this campaign and helping us with the election campaign. These funds go towards flyers and billboards, to get the name and more importantly, the values and ideas out there to make Welly the coolest little sustainable capital in the world!
We will be in touch after the campaign finishes to sort out collecting your rewards.
I just have one question. Even though you've helped so much already, can you do one more thing for us? Can you help us with our ticket sales for the movie fundraiser we are holding? We are going to show the movie Fools and Dreamers, with really cool speakers and a free Yeastie Boys beer or Karma Cola drink as well. Our ticket sales are a little slow, so I would love if you'd share this link or the Pledgeme link on your socials, networks, or with anyone you think might be into it. Or even get one yourself! I'd be so grateful.
