About

Children's Literacy Book: The Fair Factor (Book F)

Project 2017-06-02 19:59:45 +1200

My name is Anita and I am the author of the Literacy Tales series which has been written specifically for preschool and primary school children. These books have an early literacy focus, which is woven into the story using techniques such as rhyme and alliteration. It allows learners to explore and build confidence around letters and sounds. This is the third book in the series so far.

Whether you are new to the series, or you have been collecting since the start, your child is bound to love this book.

The Fair Factor, is about two naughty children who drive their parents up the wall. One day a fairy appears and decides to give them a taste of their own medicine. When the children wake up in the morning, they are fully grown adults and their parents have shrunk down to kid-size!

The story is fun to read and the scenario is one typical of a young family, so adults and children alike will be able to relate to the dynamics. By the end of the story, the reader will (hopefully) have learnt about consideration towards other people.

At the end of the book is a page of extended learning including a quiz and activity ideas. Parents or educators can use these to revisit the story to see what has been remembered and understood.

I am a qualified and registered Early Childhood teacher; I have spent time volunteering in a New Entrant class. I want to help give children the best start possible and ensure they have fun with their learning. The content of my series will help children build strong foundations in early literacy and empower a new generation of confident readers!

This pledgeme campaign is to generate presale orders for The Fair Factor.

Good morning all,

Hopefully some of your book orders have found their way to you already.

Others I'm sure are still in the hands of couriers on their way.

In case you are interested, there is another book currently in the pipelines.

It is called The Spirit of the Ninja and is a story about the virtues and disciplines children acquire through training in martial arts.

It is not part of the Literacy Tales series, but has a good strong message about building character and a good heart, to become independent, capable and confident individuals prepared to cope with life.

If you are interested in learning more, please follow this link to the Kickstarter campaign. It includes a video trailer, and the means to support the project by purchasing a book.

This book is aimed at children aged 7 and above, and costs $25 (+ postage).

Have a great day!
