We are a YES (Young Enterprise Scheme) business that wishes to inspire children to take an interest in education, through an educational and highly interactive book that specifically benefits primary school children in programmes like Reading Recovery. 

Our company aims to write, illustrate and produce a children's story book. This is story will be helpful for both parents and children, serving as a bedtime story and an educational resource. 

The story, titled "Alice and Charlie's Adventures Through Time" (All Rights Reserved), follows two children as they travel back in time on a quest to find objects they lost. They visit some important periods in history namedly the Age of Dinosaurs (Cretaceous Period), Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greece, Imperial China and the Renaissance. 

The book incorporates interactive aspects, namedly QR codes that lead to YouTube videos explaining the historical context more as well as fun and educational activities such as wordfinds, codecrackers and crosswords specially designed to test children's knowledge.

The money raised from this project will go towards the publishing of our product, nothing else. This covers all the printing, binding and other costs associated with independent and self-publishing.

This project is very important to us as a company because children are our future. Our aim is to promote and develop an interest in learning as well as foster children into becoming the well educated leaders of the future.
