The nights keep ending at the waterfront.
KATABASIS follows the stories of friends and strangers. It follows the stories we search for – the stories we missed out on – the myth we make for ourselves to tell someone, anyone, that we did something when we were young – that our night mattered.
It is a descent, through Wellington to the water, and everything in between.
Bringing together actors, musicians and filmmakers from Victoria University Theatre, Long Cloud Youth Theatre, Toi Whakaari, Massey Fine Arts and NZSM, KATABASIS is a new devised show premiering at the 2015 Fringe Festival.
We are seeking support to help fund the equipment we need to fully realise the experience we want to give our audience – to not only share the stories, but immerse you within them.
Performing at Thistle Hall from 25 February – 1 March.

Hey folks, thanks for your support so far! The clock is ticking now with 6 days to go until our campaign wraps up, and only TWELVE DAYS until our show opens at Thistle Hall. We thought we'd share a video of some of our time in rehearsal with you. THis beautiful video was prepared by our AV Designer Matt Tyler, working with the idea of nostalgia through film.
Also if you haven't booked tickets, now is the time! You can find us on eventfinder here : http://www.eventfinder.co.nz/2015/katabasis/wellington
Thanks everyone, we will see you at Thistle Hall very soon xx
