ABOUT ME

Hello and welcome to my Pledge Me page.  You may recognise me from such TV programmes such as MasterChef NZ and NZ gossip magazines. I was fortunate enough to earn a spot in the Top 16 of MasterChef New Zealand 2012 and get through to the top 10. It was an amazing experience being on the show, getting to meet crazy, like-minded food obsessed people.  Even though I did not win, this did not crush my desire to become a chef and work with food.  In fact, it made me more hungry to achieve my dream and fuelled my childhood desire to work within the food industry. My ultimate dream is to one day open my own food establishment that grows it's own produce, creating beautiful fine dining food that is seasonal, fun and sustainable.  I am hoping to combine the traditional french culinary techniques I will learn at Le Cordon Bleu and combine them with my knowledge and love for Asian cuisine.  I am also interested in opening an Asian  food house with sharing platters, tapas with menus based on Thai, Malaysian, Indonesian and Vietnamese street food.

So I know that I do have some skills and can cook good food, but what I want to do is learn to create amazing, beautiful dishes that inspires the diner and takes them on a magical food experience.  So I have applied and been accepted to study at the legendary Le Cordon Bleu which is opening later this year, in hopes to further my culinary skills and learn from the best. I have also been lucky to gain a partial scholarship to cover some of the tuition fees. However, I still need to come up with $23,500 for the fees and the due date for them is nearing, and I need your help to achieve my dream.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

So to achieve my dream of studying at Le Cordon Bleu, you can help me, by spreading the word and sharing my page.  A donation towards my cause (big or small) would also be greatly and sincerely appreciated.  I have already started other fundraising ventures by bringing in baking goods to my work and selling them at a small cost, saving all my pennies from my wages, and I am organising a fundraising dinner for early July.  I need to raise $5000 from this pledge, so any help would make me ever so happy.

REWARDS

By helping and supporting my Pledge, you will have gained the joy of helping me achieve my dream of studying at Le Cordon Bleu.  There are also some rewards/perks included .

Thank you for giving me your time, visiting my Pledge Me page and supporting me on achieving my dream.
