Shine Lady Tours Europe

We have been invited to perform Shine Lady at the Sziget festival in Budapest, Hungary in August 2012. We have toured the show around New Zealand and people love it. So, we would love to share it with the rest of the world. We have also organised a show in London on 3rd August and a show in Oxford on 1st August. We have some funds, but need more to make it happen. Sziget Festival is primarily a music festival, but they loved our contemporary dance show and we would love to have a chance to show Europe some great NZ dance. 



The performers in Shine Lady are Liz Kirk, Julie van Renen and Liana Yew who are all incredible dancers who have been nominated or have won awards for dance in New Zealand. They deserve to be seen abroad! Choreographer Ann Dewey has a long history of making dances both in NZ and overseas and is proud to be based in Leigh. Music for the show is a mad melange of Gypsy romps, Bach, PJ Harvey and Bandicoot. 



We are looking for money to fund dancers wages, they are amazing professionals are deserve to be paid! Shine Lady was the only NZ show to be selected for a spotlight performance at the Australian Performing Arts Market in Adelaide in February 2012. It was a great honor and now we would love to accept our invitation to Europe. we would be eternally grateful for any assistance anyone can give us, Ann and the team
