My project aims to address the growing problem of food waste by providing a modern solution that accommodates the changing lifestyles of individuals in condensed housing environments. Traditional composting methods are no longer practical for many due to limited outdoor space and the time it takes for decomposition. We recognize the need for quick and efficient innovation in the New Zealand market, as current options are lacking.

By importing innovative technologies developed to tackle food waste such as the Lomi, we aim to contribute to methane reduction efforts and play our part in resolving this pressing issue in New Zealand. 

Throughout the past several months, I've embarked on a research journey, exploring the potential for Lomi in the retail market that I successfully integrated into my own home for over a year now. Motivated by my positive experience, I collaborated with Lomi's team, sharing my invaluable findings to explore possibilities for a potential partnership. Now, equipped with comprehensive insights and determination, and now, more than ever, I am ready and eager to propel this initiative forward into the next exciting phase!

The purpose of this fund is to seek support from my friends and family to help aid my sustainability vision.

The $25k Goal - is going towards helping me with

Legal fees for

- Receiving the Lisence to distribute Lomi in NZ,

- Application and processing of health and safety NZ certificates required,

- Support of my first procurement process and initial logistics to get things running.

With your kind pledge, I am able to begin the implementation of my project. It will enable me to bring together the necessary resources, collaborate with experts in business and develop a solid foundation for this initiative. 

My expertise lies in sustainability knowledge, issue resolution, and my tenacious passion for our planet and the nature it provides us. If you know me, you may agree that I am a bit of a fanatic for the natural world which also includes, the protection of our planet. Kaitiakitanga - guardianship of our environment. Yet, I humbly admit my limitations in technical business aspects which is why I am needing some help in funding to guide me through the business functions of this.
