It's our love of food that connects us together.

HomeDish is the brainchild of an immigrant couple in Auckland who, over the chatter and aromas of the kitchen, discovered the power of cooking and eating together to create connections, restore hope and normality, and provide a sense of home. Getting home-cooked meals delivered is a perfect way to get the nutrition that you need, without having to prepare the food yourself.

With HomeDish, anyone in New Zealand can turn their kitchen into a successful business. HomeDish connects HomeChefs with foodies and buyers looking for an alternative - something special with a human touch - that just can't be found in a restaurant. HomeChef recipes can be handed down over generations with their culture roots of New Zealand, Asia, Africa, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, and many more places as we grow.

Our Mission

In a time of increasing uncertainty and disconnection from each other, our traditions, and our homes, it’s HomeDishes' mission to not only bring people together through food, but also empower individuals and families to set up their own small business selling food on our platform from their kitchen at home.

With HomeDish, anyone in New Zealand can turn their kitchen into a successful business. Our platform connects them with buyers looking for an alternative - something special with a human touch - that just can't be found in a restaurant; recipes handed down over generations in New Zealand, Asia, Africa, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East and many more places.

HomeDish has helped several HomeChefs, who would otherwise not be able to start their own small business, get set-up and earn an income to support their families. HomeDish team invests hours with each and every new HomeChef on hygine training, help with the paperwork required for registering the kitchen to operate, guidance in marketing and pricing of the foods.

 It's our love of food that connects us together.  Now we need your support to expand HomeDish connections to more people across the country, so more foodies and buyers can taste the food creations from our community of HomeChefs.

HomeDish is also grateful for the earned trust and respect by the staff of  New Zealand Ministry of Ethnic Communities for their guidance and support to bring HomeChefs on board.
