Who Loves Who CD
Project 2012-01-25 16:10:48 +1300
The Project
‘Who Loves Who’ is a great competition as it gives students the opportunity to focus on arrangement and composition in an existing song, while interpreting and recording it in their own way or genre. It is open to all secondary school students in NZ and to the full spectrum of artists; solo, band, trio, orchestra, jazz, punk, rock etc.
There are awards for best male, female, instrumental, airplay and the overall winner (the prize is 2 days in a top NZ recording studio). In addition to this we realize that the Top 20 songs on a CD is a great reward for the winning artists – to have their track to keep, play, give away and generally be proud of. We also like to give these CDs away to anyone who is interested or keen to enjoy songs reworked by young talent.
The launch of the CD will be our celebration of NZ Music Month in 2012.
The Cost
We are seeking funding of $5,450 to cover artwork and production of 3,000 CDs.
YOU can be rewarded to as you contribute to this great new Nationwide project.
