Dr. Marigaux's New CD

Dr. Marigaux is a fictional saxophone player. I know he's fictional because I created him. I drew him (he looks a little like me) and I played the sax for him on the CD. It's a fantastic album: hard core New Orleans R&B with a delta tinge, driven by Dr. Marigaux's fine blues tinged baritone sax playing.
If you want to know more about Dr Marigaux - check out his new web series - episode one is online now, and features a tune from the album (although the music in the web series is more compressed to compensate for playback on small computer speakers – the CD will be much better audio quality). Here's the link to episode one...
The album is complete – 11 tunes, around 47 minutes of jazzy funk, soul, and blues instrumentals. I’m doing the final mastering now. Expect the CDs to be posted out within two weeks after the PledgeMe project closes.
All that’s needed now is to know how many to make – and that’s where PledgeMe comes in. Pledge to get one of the CD packages at right, and I’ll be able to know how many to get made, and you’ll get the first edition of the album.
Here’s the cover….

Well, the graphic design is done (and looking good. if I do say so), the master has been made, and sent off to the pressing plant, and everything seems to be running smooth. I should have the discs in the mail in a week or two.
Thanks for your support!
Cheers,
Phil

Well it's been a mission but I think I'vbe got the mastering sorted - after several versions that sounded dull, quiet, or too compressed, I've now got a version that sounds good - a great fat bottom end and clear, detailed tops. I'll have to hear how this version sound on different systems next - hopefully I won't listen to it tomorrow and decide I need to redo it!
