Hi, my name is Joshua McCrackan, I am an 18 year old Wellington Scots College Student, experienced motorcyclist with a mission to raise funds and awareness for the New Zealand charity KidsCan.
I am going to do a charity motorcycle trip in support of KidsCan, from the top of New Zealand to the bottom, mostly off road on a new Learner Approved Yamaha XTZ 660 Tenere, covering an estimate of 4,700km in early 2014. I will stop in each city at a destination that will be advertised on my website, Facebook page and through my sponsors, to promote myself, my products, collect for KidsCan and talk about what I am doing.
I will be competing in challenges to gain public interest and challenge myself. These challenges could be anything from racing on the 90 mile beach to a stunt with NZone Skydiving in Queenstown. These challenges will be advertised and you can come and view them or maybe even take part in them.
Following me I will have a support vehicle with my Father and a cameraman/director, who will for this journey be medics and mechanics as well as their usual roles. The vehicle will also contain emergency equipment, spare parts and all the camera equipment.
This documentary will not be aired but will be an internet series and will be sold in hard copy.
I have made huge progress on this project and gained a lot of sponsorship including sponsorship from Yamaha NZ. The only thing I am lacking is the funding required to pay the cameraman fees, so I am setting up this PledgeMe to raise the funds to pay the cameraman fees plus some other fees such as food for the journey and other provisions.
So please take your time to donate, there is a minimum donation of $10 but there is no maximum and every little bit will help me to do this great thing for KidsCan.
Thanks!

Some peolpe have expressed issues with Pledging. This has ranged from not being able to make an account to just not being able to Pledge at all.
Some ways to resolve this are:
If you cannot add your address - try not adding one, it will use the address you used to make your account
If you cannot make an account - try it on a different platform and ensure you have not used your email to make an account here before
If you experience any difficulties please comment because your Pledge is important to us.
You can contact the PledgeMe support team on [email protected]
