Help Me Get To The Rugby League World Cup!

My name is Andrew Kaulave, of Tongan descent, from Owhiro Bay, Wellington and I'm currently studying at Victoria University in the hopes of one day becoming a primary school teacher. I play for the VUW Hunters RLC and have a huge passion for Rugby League and in late June, I will be traveling to the Students Rugby League World Cup in Leeds, UK representing NZ as a member of the NZ University & Tertiary Students Rugby League team.
We all individually have the financial commitment of $5,000 to fundraise for the tour and it has proven a challenging task so far, approaching many corporates supportive of Rugby League only to be told they won’t get enough exposure. However, for many die hard rugby league people and myself - it’s all done for the love of the game! I have since decided to try social media in an attempt to fundraise 30%-50% of the cost + pledgeme fees. I hope to achieve this with the help of family, friends and the generous people of pledgeme as well as some rewards, which I will work hard to source and update as they become available.
