A Season To Forget - Film

A Season to Forget is a short film project that will focus on memory, in particular the memory of a single fateful day in the life of Erin, our protagonist. Through the use of flashbacks we learn about her experiences as a child. 

An extremely talented group of filmmakers, both student and professionals will make this film a reality. This project is special because we are shooting it on 16mm film, a format that has mostly gone out of fashion in favour of modern digital practices. For this project, we have bought the last 16mm film stock that Fuji will ever make and we are getting it developed at Park Road Post just before they too close down the last motion picture film laboratory in New Zealand in June. 

We are asking for $600 to help us with set design, props, catering and petrol for the 4 days of scheduled shooting. If we go over budget, we will give all the contributors extra goodies as well as make a limited release DVD.

So it looks like we've done over half of our goal! Thank you so much, you people are truly amazing!

I just wanted to let everyone know that we are set to shoot very soon and more updates should be on their way.

The post-production will then take us quite a while and the film will be completed around the start of October so expect your goodies around then. :)
