About

Celery Stories

Project 2013-02-08 01:03:52 +1300

When it comes to theatre, what you see shouldn’t always be what you get.

Celery Productions (Producers of Art in the Dark) want to take you on a journey through Auckland's backyard in their immersive storytelling extravaganza for Auckland Fringe Festival. This self-funded 2 night only experience on the 21st and 22nd of February will get audiences out of their seats and into the streets. The audience will become collaborators rather than spectators on this theatrical journey through Myers Park and then into The Basement - the stage could be a park bench, the stranger standing next to you and Myers Park will transform before your eyes.

This is a project that anticipates becoming a free annual festival like Art in the Dark and we need help to get it off the ground. We will use every resource under our belt for this show. Stand by to witness shadow puppets, projections, special effects and performances like no other.

Please support Celery Stories. Unexpected, expected.
