Collab Project with Fringe
The Wellington Fringe Festival is an open-access festival held every summer involving a wide range of shows across all artforms in venues throughout the city.
Running With Ghosts is a theatre piece devised by Catastrophe Collective that embraces the collision of the supernatural world with our own and questions the existence of the connection between these realms. Audience members will follow the journeys of six characters who are stuck in limbo regardless of whether the characters are alive or dead.
A combination of the skill-sets of 4 Musicians and 2 classically trained Dancers results in a unique form of performance art. Catastrophe Collective brings together six performers hungry for theatrical revolution, who are harnessing the Wellington Fringe Festival 2013 to produce a debut piece of sensual, zesty, interactive performance. Catastrophe Collective is based in Wellington and aspires to create beautiful, colourful, daring theatre.
The collective was co-founded by Cathy-Ellen Paul and Ashleigh Flynn, two graduates from the Theatre Programme at Victoria University of Wellington. They are joined by co-creators Tony Black, Hayley McCarthy, Maryse (Beanie) RIdler, and Eleanor Rowan.
We aim to raise $500 to go towards costume and props, venue hire, advertising materials, and general production costs to produce our piece of theatre.
Our performance dates are 27th February to 2nd March at 7pm; venue TBC.

Hello beautiful people! We hope you're having a bright happy day.
We want to send a big warm thank you to all of you who have put faith into Running With Ghosts by supporting us here on Pledgeme! Both those who have recently pledged, and those who we have already thanked a while ago :-)
It is a play with a punch, and there are lots of excited feelings buzzing around as we are now two weeks out from opening!
There have been some changes to our show times, which suits our play even better-
on Thursday the 28th Feb and Saturday the 2nd March, we have shows starting at midnight. "Tis the very witching hour" When was the last time you saw a show starting at midnight? It's going to be a rare experience, lads and lasses.
We are so close to reaching our target on Pledgeme- we are short by $90. Any donation you can make from $5 and up will be greatly appreciated. We are enjoying making the reward letters/poems/artworks and would love to make you some in return for your generosity!
Love from Catastrophe Collective x x
