The Harbour Sessions Documentary Sound Mix And Master
Project 2022-05-26 14:25:26 +1200
Hello! We need help to raise $2000 to mix and master the sound on The Harbour Sessions documentary.
The Harbour Sessions was a bi-monthly showcase of local Christchurch and national singer-songwriters and bands.
Based at the Wunderbar in Lyttelton Harbour, we filmed all 7 shows (we slipped in a 7th!) during the year of 2009.
Subsequently (after many years) a documentary was edited and is now ready to have a final mix and master of the sound.
The 60 minute doco features performances from over 30 singer-songwriters, including The Eastern, Ghost Mountain Ninja, William Daymond, Nadia Reid, Tono and the Finance Company, Cold Harvest Trust, The Tiny Lies, Ragamuffin Children, Marlon Williams and Ben Woolley, Delaney Davidson, Von Klap and heaps more!
There are also interviews with a bunch of the performers and various people involved in the shows, including Wunderbar custodian Andrew Bishop, Lyttelton Museum custodian, the late Baden Norris, Lyttelton artist Scott Jackson and more.
Unfortunately most of the multi-track audio recordings were destroyed in Christchurch’s earthquakes, but we have all the camera audio at our disposal and in the right hands, the sound will be great!
As soon as the sound gets polished we’ll upload the documentary to Vimeo and/or Youtube so anyone can view it for free!
Any donation amount appreciated but for people who donate $50 or more we will add a thankyou in the doco's credits.
Please have a look at the video to learn more about the Harbour Sessions documentary.
Thanks!
