Kia ora koutou, over the last year I’ve been writing, producing, and recording songs at home during lockdown for my fourth album - Into The Wonder. I’m especially excited to share these songs with you all because it’s the first time I’ve self-produced and recorded an album. Lockdown provided a unique opportunity to learn some new skills, and I hope you can hear and feel what I’ve put into these songs when you listen for the first time.
The funding I was hoping to apply for earlier in the year has been significantly COVID delayed so I am cracking on with support from a small artist grant and this PledgeMe Campaign. I have kept the target on the lower side to increase our chances of reaching it. If the target were to be met and passed, all funds (after fees and any reward shipping expenses) would go directly into the album. The plan is to release a single via Spotify, Apple Music, etc once a month for the next year, so at least 14 tracks. This is made possible with the support of audio engineer, Andrew Buckton, who is mixing and mastering the tracks as we go.
