Hi All,
Thanks for dropping by.
Directed by Drew Welsh and Produced by Jordan Cooke, The short focuses on Sam who is a typical University student. She is introduced to social media and becomes obsessed with it as she uses it as an escape from the educational pressure from her parents. Over the course of the film, her obsession only gets worse as her relationships with her parents and friends begin to crumble and her education continues to slump. Her perception of reality becomes clouded with a misguided view on reality which leads to her having to take action to break the obsession to salvage the broken relationships.
This film is our final project for our Television and Screen Production major at AUT. This short film is also our Directing and Producing debut.
We are really passionate about filmmaking and this project, we really want to bring it to life. But this production is a big task and we your help to make it happen. Donations big or small are greatly appreciated and will go towards location costs, transportation and catering for our talented cast and crew.
