Baron Hasselhoff's has been making chocolates for 5 years in Wellington. It's fast become a crowd favourite, but last Christmas we ran out of our award winning chocolate a week before the big day!
This can never happen again. Can you help us reach $50,000 in 30 days?
We need to get a bigger sized grinder for our cacao beans, a real deal chocolate tempering machine, a chocolate travelator (yes it’s a thing), a guitar cutter and more chocolate bar molds so we can scale up our operation. There's some sweet sweet rewards including chocolates, badges, tees, totes and caps, chocolate masterclasses or your face as a solid chocolate bust!
Get involved, make a pledge and help a sweet little business get even sweeter.
EVERY pledge goes into the draw to win a year’s supply of chocolate! Valued at $750. The lucky winner will receive a box of four items in the Baron Hasselhoff’s range (including limited editions) EVERY month.
About the rewards:
Almost all the rewards give you a choice of what kind of design you like. Please enter your choice in the delivery instructions.
If your reward does not require a delivery address we will be in contact with a google form for you to choose your reward design.
All our T-shirts and Tote bags are from the Little Yellow Bird in New Zealand. They come in all sizes from XS to 2XL.
- All cotton is 100% rain-fed and organic certified.
- They trace their cotton back to a farming cooperative they’ve visited many times.
- They are b-corp and living wage certified.
- They use organic certified water-based inks.
- They are the only company in New Zealand that offers free returns on all products, and have fibre to fibre recycling solution.
About our project:
It’s been a pretty amazing experience for us chocolate disciples to work with Baron Hasselhoff. It’s also quite tough staying true to the old school and hand-dipping and hand-cutting every piece of truffle, let alone the lengthy process that bean to bar takes. The bank won't lend to us for another year and we can't keep going like this. The new machinery will save us a whopping 4 hours a day! With no detriment to our high quality. We will be able to TRIPLE our production and THRIVE.

Rawe! Woohoo! We made it. THANK YOUUU! This feels Magical. The campaign closes at 3pm tomorrow so you still have time to get your hands on some of that sweet merchandise. Anything above our target will go towards bringing our latest craft release "Drunk n' Donuts" to market and we can never have enough chocolate molds. Thank you again. You are our hero's.
