About

Help Adriana Christie Fund Her Run For The Epsom Electorate.

Project 2020-07-27 12:01:59 +1200

Kia Ora, I am Adriana Christie,

I am running for the seat of Epsom with The Opportunities Party, a centrist party with evidence-based, reaserched policies that are backed by science not ideology. I believe, in this day and age, we have enough data to start implementing policies that are current to our societal needs. Yes, talking about change or a new way of life at times feels uncomfortable.

I decided to stand for central goverment knowing that I did not have the funds to do it on my own. Wouldn't it be great to have a more progressive voice in Parliament? (especially in Epsom) I need your help to achieve this. By making a donation, you will be contributing directly to funding the basic costs of my campaign: i.e printing, signs, ads, billboards.

I want to show, through this electoral campaign, how small thoughtful actions can generate a positive impact. Instead of the usual waste, broken plastic coreflutes, wet brochures on the floor, and big budgets, I will run a lean campaign that is agile, tactical and thinks about its impact.

Introducing:

Adopt a Hoarding.

Hoardings generate an awful amount of waste. The coreflutes are very difficult to repurpose and most end up in landfill. The plywood and timber, although they may be repurposed, are both chemically treated and leach nasty chemicals into our already depeted soil. So what's the opposite of that? Compost bins. The end life of my pallet compostable hoardings will be compost bins.

I will be dismantling my election hoardings at the end of the campaign and turning them into compost bins, which I will gift to the community. When you donate, I will write your name (if wanted) on the sides of the bins in acknowledgemnt of your support for this initiative. A keep-sake of positive change.

Thank you for your time (and your donation!)

I am grateful for your support.
