The Cannabis referendum in September brings a unique opportunity for the people of New Zealand. It gives Kiwis the chance to act against an old and failed approach towards Cannabis. It brings Kiwis a voice to stand against historic laws which do not have the desired effect anymore and now need to change for the better.

We are confident that Kiwis will vote YES! and take control of Cannabis in New Zealand. We want Kiwis to see that legalising Cannabis will have enormous health benefits and will also contribute greatly towards rebuilding New Zealand’s economy.

This referendum is not only for people who consume Cannabis, but is for every individual, business and community. There will be much more control, safety, jobs and opportunities in the society.

Legally Green aims to be New Zealand’s first Cannabis consultants offering personalised, world-class and affordable Cannabis-related business consultancy services.

The main aim and objective of this company is to help Kiwis take control of Cannabis as soon as it is legalised. It is Legally Green’s belief that if we help Kiwis transition from an illegal, unregulated, untaxed and monopolised Cannabis market to a legal, regulated, taxed and welfare-based Cannabis market, the health and economic benefits will be immense.

If Kiwis have a dedicated service which will look after and educate them regarding all Cannabis related rules, laws and regulations they need to know, there will be greater acceptance and confidence in the society. If it is easy for Kiwis to move into or start a Cannabis related business, the money stays in New Zealand. This money can be used for New Zealand’s growth and development.

The Company will offer personal, affordable and world-class Cannabis-related consultancy services. This will include:

• Help setting up legal Cannabis related businesses, including help and training in meeting all council and national licensing requirements and procuring the right equipment

• Promoting New Zealand based Cannabis businesses in the international market

• Promoting safe growing and selling practices amongst Kiwis

• Building a network of contacts, nationally and internationally, readily available for use by businesses, individuals and communities whenever required

• Spreading awareness of safe Cannabis consumption practices

• Organising information sessions involving different industry and community leaders who will emphasise how legal and regulated Cannabis is good for the people and economy of New Zealand

• Discouraging use of Cannabis in teenagers by spreading awareness about the ill-effects of consuming at a young age

• Establish support groups for Kiwis aimed towards gradual reduction of recreational Cannabis smoking

• Creating a safe forum and community of recreational users of Cannabis to connect and share their thoughts and experiences

• Creating free guides for individuals who want to grow Cannabis in their homes by helping them understand all laws and regulations they need to follow and provide support in every way possible

• Partnering with different government bodies at local and national levels to identify areas that need enhanced support

• Working with the government to promote proper implementation of health and safety rules and regulations to promote safe areas of Cannabis consumption for the general public

Keeping in line with our core values, Legally Green will strive to only take services from New Zealand owned businesses from the day it begins operations.

There will be active steps taken towards hiring and using New Zealand owned businesses for every service we need or provide.

All money earned by Legally Green will stay in New Zealand to grow and contribute towards New Zealand’s economy. Unless there is no alternative available, Legally Green will not invest or spend any money outside New Zealand. Wherever Legally Green is required to spend money outside New Zealand, there will be an active push towards promoting those services in New Zealand so that a Kiwi can start providing the same services and our money stays in our country.

However, to achieve all of this, Legally Green requires your support at this stage. We believe together as a community we can achieve anything that may seem difficult right now. This crowdfunding campaign is only the start towards a brighter future in New Zealand. The money being raised in this campaign will be used towards specific and tangible expenses, necessary at this stage to set up basic operations. These expenses include setting up different business accounts, approaching and building the right contacts in the government and community and towards promoting true, accurate and verifiable information about Cannabis to Kiwis.

Legally Green will contribute a similar amount of money it asks from this campaign to charities and non-government organisations (such as The Drug Foundation NZ, MakeItLegal.co.nz etc) within 2 years of setting up operations. Legally Green will also make active contribution towards other charities and will continue to educate New Zealand about Cannabis. Legally Green also aims to conduct its own educational and informational sessions for young and at-risk individuals so that safe consumption practices are followed in New Zealand.

Together, we can change the perception of the public towards Cannabis. We can show the world how a community that cares and looks after each other, takes control of the unknown and makes choices that benefit everyone. Legally Green looks forward to helping Kiwi businesses, individuals, communities and the government in taking all steps to ensure that Cannabis is grown, sold and consumed safely in New Zealand.
