Ok so where to start gezz! My name is Rose, i'll make this a short story i promise ;) So last year i worked my ass off to go traveling woohoo!! Get to Europe and get to work, little did i know or was more then likely a bit clueless about was the madness that was about to unfold a few months in.
Yes Carona Virus hit and it hit HARD! In short i got land locked in the country of Slovakia, trust me i am grateful for my health and i am far luckier then most around me. But due to Carona virus my insurance is pretty much useless, a lot of my flights are all canceled and only one has offered money back. Needless to say it's a tricky spot as i can't work here !
I see New Zealand has gone into lock down and this pleases me, because we need to kick this things ass! I have come to terms knowing i am so very far away from my loved ones and will be for months, it's hard but i can do it as so many others are as well.
However being in Slovakia lock down, no work , no source of income and no help with finances back home my resources are dwindling. SO instead of sitting thinking 'oooooooooo shit, shit , shit' , i thought you know what i'm a artist and a damn good one! SO to the point of the 'KEEP ME STRONG' project is to not only keep me sustainable while i am stuck here for however long, looking like another month, but also help me get the funds to get home when i finally can :D
SO i want to design you guys as lock down warriors! I will draw you as a comic character of you, mad max style, ready to battle the carona virus. In the end i plan to put everyone's pictures together on one poster to form a army of you all, it will look so bad ass. You will receive these as digital A4 file when the project reaches it's goal.
If all goes well and i get home i would love to get everyone who has donated together and take a picture of everyone together :D so you will have your picture, your poster and i can meet every single one of you who helped KEEP US STRONG! The target is low as i am only asking for what i need, i have done the budgeting and am aware everyone of us is in a tight spot. So anything is appreciated <3 I understand this is a sensitive topic for some and i mean absolutely no offence with this project, this horrific virus is taking lives and over here in Europe shit has hit the fan and i never want New Zealand to turn out this way.
So i will return when i can , but also when it is safe to do so as i would never in a million years wish to bring this home to anyone. So please stay safe, make wise decisions and be there for one another!
If you don't want your self drawn then i also offer epic pet drawings ooohhh lala!
