We are running the Mangere Community Game: Makes it Happen, a 2.5 day start up event to launch projects and enterprises that will create more community wellbeing and prosperity in Mangere for which the Mangere Make-it-Happen Seed Fund will provide start-up funding to help projects move quickly forward.

Players of the Game learn how to use a variety of community currencies at this rapid start up programme complimenting the use of national currency drawn from this seed fund and their own use of peer to peer / collaborative systems of start-up capital.

People learn at The Game to use a variety of collaborative project management and planning tools to bring their projects to launch in just 2.5 days, and also learn use of some innovative economic tools that enables self-funding so they and their community are economically stronger and more independent.

Your gift donation to this fund is rewarded with the equivalent numerical value in Mangere ‘Maker Money Goodwill Credits’ which will be issued to you in a mixture of both electronic credits and beautiful paper vouchers, which you can use directly with participants and or in our Maker Money Community Exchange platform offering a variety of goods and services like:  accommodation, food, gym memberships, concert tickets, art works, and participation in a variety of educational and start-up programmes (such as The Community Game) and other things both in Mangere and other parts of the country. Anyone can offer to accept Maker Money goodwill credits for products or servcies they have to offer.

Or you can gift your Maker Money goodwill credits to friends, family, business contacts or deserving strangers to use on the Community Exchange platform and or as scholarships in a variety of educational / self help programmes - allowing your gift to double in its giving value. All of this becomes a  secondary gifting / trading game whose main original purpsoe has been to help empower community good projects to happen.
