The Big Fat Film Festival Of '85 | SHORT FILM

After losing what he loves most dearly , an incompetent man learns how to find joy in the darkness all while competing in a film contest against the most diabolical celebrity he's ever met." The Big Fat Film Festival Of '85 takes place in a small rural town North of Christchurch set in 1985. We follow Oscar as he is planning on entering the Film Festival and everything seems to be going pretty well until a tragic event happens. A few months pass and Oscar gets inspired to try again, he teams up with his two best friends Brandon and Hayden and they are determined to get it done this time. Unknown to them, there is a celebrity in town named Jak who is planning on entering the same competition and he's not going to let anyone stand in his way!
This is a family story for everyone to enjoy! It has love, action, comedy and drama. The message of this short is all about Joy. When something goes wrong in our lives it can be very difficult to focus on the good bits, we are hoping that we can help people look for those positive moments in life and have a bit of a laugh along the way!
