Zoof.
The word drenched in ache, of fallen soldiers who know they are defeated but until they lay down and until the doors of their beloved Creative Writing Programme shut for good, they will keep moving forward.
The Whitireia on-campus Creative Writing Programme is closing after 25 years of developing the voices of countless talented writers and helping shape the New Zealand literary landscape - a heartbreaking turn of events!
BUT never fear, Zoof is here!
Our zine (mini magazine) will encapsulate the melancholic end of an era, while paying homage to mentors and hours spent in front of the computer.
Current writing students are putting their best foot forward to give the programme a well deserved full stop at the end of its quarter-century story.
Many keyboard letters have fallen at the task of producing this zine. We ask for your donations to help with colour printing in order to produce the best and give the programme the finest send-off we can. Please help us do so.
Our launch will be mid November 2019 and we will also see your lovely faces at this year's Wellington Zinefest.
