Become Part of a Story of Hope!

I wrote a book.  It is about how we can live through trauma by changing our perspective of what happens to us, so that we can find the purpose in our pain, so that we see HOPE and can go forward.

I wrote this book in partnership with an Organisation called Iracambi that is helping to conserve an area of rainforest in Brazil that is in critical danger of disappearing completely. There is just 7% of this Rainforest left.

The next stage of my book print is to write the story of Iracambi and the Atlantic Rainforest into my story.  This was on the recommendations of my incredible partners at Aarohati Publishers. 

And I will continue to share this story that is currently untold!  Just like my story was before I wrote it.  And writing it healed me.  I was a victim of rape in South America in 2004.  Volunteering with Iracambi in 2010 was part of me trying to understand how to escape the trauma of that experience as my life began to unravel. The experience in that forest was a pivotal part of my story as I realised quite how far out of alignment I had gone from my Soul Goal by living in a survival mode that kept me safe from everything I feared after the rape happened.

The Hummingbird is the symbol of Iracambi.  As she drops tiny beads of water onto the forest's flames as it is slashed and burned, the other species laugh and say she can never make a difference to the fire that is burning through their home.  She say's, "I am doing my part".
