Regulated Mobile Abattoir

Project 2019-08-29 08:29:07 +1200

Onsite Regulated Mobile Abattoir. This will be a mobile abattoir to service farmers and small live stock hobby farmers support butcher shops with low cost beef and lamb witch then can supply customers with low cost meat. One major key aspect is to regulate homekill, which then can be bought and sold legally through our abattoir.

The team is myself as owner operator - I'll be operating the abattoir and working with the clients first hand. My wife will do document control for the company. The boning and packing team is also myself and my wife for the start of operations.

To all that pledge for our project, all funding will go on finishing abattoir refridgeration, winches, abattoir walls and panels, all steel products to finish abattoir lifting hoist, and to purchase a tandam trailer.

The key focus is stress free stock - no transportation of livestock which generally is a cause of stress, when animals are left in their own enviroment they are none the wiser to what's happening this is a major key point. Processing facts: good stock condition plus stress free stock equals quality eating product.

The abattoir will pull the homekill market in line, whereby homekill product will be inspected product fully fit for human comsumption. This opens up an opportunity for our company to purchase stock and be able to on sell to the local market i.e beef and lamb,or the customer my want to sell a 1/4 of a body of beef or 1/2 this is the same for lamb or just fill there own freezer with there product.

The abattoir process - Onsite slaughter of beef and lamb. Weights, name, and animal characteristics are documented as per MPI regulations. Carcasses are chilled for up to maximum allowance under MPI regulations. Mobile abattoir will return in the time frame given by our system to your property to fully process your product i.e beef or lamb. This system is a key facet - one being your beef carcass lets say the first of our killing day will be the first out of our chiller. It is left in its carcass state (bone in), name tagged and marked by our grading system where it may have 'no1' written on each 1/4 with edible food crayon. This can only be removed but cutting and removing it. The carcass will also have carcass tickets on each 1/4 this is traceability and giving you comfort. The process for lamb is similar.

If you are there you will see the animal process in full and have 100% assurance of your product. We then bone, cut, and pack your product to your requirements straight into your freezer. This will give you an understanding of knowing your product cuts and where they come from and learning the handling of a finished product.

What we offer - Onsite slaughter service. Bone, cut, and , packing beef and lamb legally allowed to buy direct of farmers and livestock owners (hence regulated mobile abattoir) . The abattoir itself is equipped with hygenic working conditions as a fully reuglated abattoir would be run under MPI standards the abattoir will be subject to on going audits by MPI.

A great funding project is only made by trust and giving back to whom supports making everyone known for their support. Thank you Jo&Aaron Dodunski Proud Owners of Mobile Meat Services Ltd. Follow us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/ip.man.co.nz/
