The Dragonfly Rustlers EP

Hi folks!
We are planning our first ever professionally recorded EP! It will feature four to six of our original songs. We are covering the cost of the recording time with money we’ve raised from playing shows around Dunedin but would love a little extra help with mixing and mastering costs as well as reproduction.
We first came together as a duo in 2008 and quickly became regulars on the Dunedin open mic and cafe scene. After the tyranny of distance forced a ten-year hiatus, we reunited in 2018 and picked up where we left off, just older and better. Our Inspiration comes from an eclectic mix of influences to create a laidback sound incorporating folk harmonies and classical guitar licks as we explore the trials and tribulations of love and life through the ages.
We have been regularly gigging in Dunedin for the past year and a bit and are so excited to take this next step in our musical journey.
Massive thanks to everyone for your support. We can’t wait to share our songs with you!

We are very happy to share that our recording session was a success and we managed to record all six of the songs we intended to yesterday. It was a great experience and are so lucky to have such lovely friends and family who kept us very comfortably housed and nourished on our adventure. Thanks everyone for your support. You Really all are just the best!!

Three days into the campaign and we’ve reached our target! We are so blown away with everyones generosity, the likes and the shares. Although we’ve reached our target we encourage those of you who would like to pre-order the EP or other rewards to please do so. The EP’s given as rewards for this campaign will be a bit extra special with hand assembled covers featuring beautiful artwork by the very talented Alessandra Rinaldi. Any extra funds will also go towards the mixing and reproduction of the EP.
