S A Reyners UK Tour
Project 2012-11-03 05:27:53 +1300
Wellington-based Tasman Records songwriter S A Reyners is planning to embark on a prolonged tour of the UK, playing every venue he can. Reyners' decidedly Anglophilic songwriting tendencies are the motivation behind his proposed tour of the United Kingdom, not least born out of a love for 1960s English pop groups, the 1970s Northern Soul revivalist scene in the North, and 1990s Britpop.
Reyners recently received plaudits from Anika Moa and Nathan King (Zed) on his new single 'Just Whatever', with the former artist locating it between early Beatles work and Morrissey, while King commended the song's chorus, likening it to Pulp.
