Rising Sun Publishing & Plunge Comics NZ presents, PLUNGE Indie Comic Convention. Supported by Creative Northland. Saturday 13th July 2019 5yrs in the making. A convention solely aimed at promoting Comic Books & Pop Culture in Whangarei, New Zealand via Independent Comic Book Creators, Guest Panels, Speakers & Interviews, Comics, & More.
12pm to 5pm. 116 Bank Street, Whangarei City, Whangarei.
Its right in the middle of the school holidays and is an exciting part of Matariki Celebrations.
This 5 hour event is a Family Friendly arts event for 7yrs olds to 100yrs olds. We encourage parents and guardians to come along and support your mokopuna (grandkids), and our tamariki (children), to learn about an industry they may only have ever seen on TV or at the Movies.
Your support will help us build an amazing event for our community and our amateur and professional artists get their work seen around the world, as we Live Stream the event on Twitch Youtube & Facebook.
