Greetings. I'm Nur Peach and I'm proud to say that I am passionate about music.
Music is my greatest love, my life's work, my light in the darkness and so much more. I have been singing all my life and writing songs since the age of five. I began learning guitar at the age of eight and piano at nine. Since a very young age I have had a lot of experience performing in a wide range of different settings, including performing at festivals and other events, performing at cafes and even appearing on Maori TV.
The incredible power that songs hold never ceases to amaze me. We, the songwriters, write songs as a means of expressing ideas and emotions, and we are deeply inspired and healed by the process. The songs then go on to touch the hearts of other people, inspiring them as they had inspired the songwriters. Having had both these experiences, I can wholeheartedly say that the power that music holds is unbelievably great and I strongly believe that music can change the world. Therefore, my mission is to make the world a better place through my music. I try to achieve this by writing lyrics that deliver positive and uplifting messages.
In 2014 I recorded my first EP, "Hello World," which was released the following year and consisted of 4 original songs, some of which I plan to re-record for my full length album. In 2016, my song "Feel the Sun" was the Waikato Regional winner of the Play It Strange Get Connected songwriting competition. This lead to my recording the song at Roundhead Studios, which was such an amazing experience that ever since then I've dreamed of recording a whole album there- so now I'm crowdfunding to make this dream a reality.
Now I'm 18 years old. I have just finished high school and am going to university to syudy music this year. I wish to record the songs of my childhood before I embark on the next chapter of my life. My debut album will be called "The Sky We Left Behind" and it will include 13 songs that I wrote over the past 7 years.
My goal is to raise $6,000, but it would be great if we could go over. This will be an expensive project with a lot of different costs involved, including recording, mastering, digital distribution and the manufacturing of physical CDs. Therefore, I need all the support I can get.

Wow, I cannot believe that this campaign has already been running for a week! I've already raised $80, so thanks so much to everyone who's contributed already!!! Your support means the world to me.
How is everyone? I'm good. I've been writing a lot of new songs lately, and I've been very busy preparing for my concert coming up on the 15th of February- which I'm very excited about! The concert is at the Lotus Realm back room in Thames, at 7:30- so please consider coming along if you're in the area!!! It will be a great night, I'm sure.
