Eotearoa NZ E-Bike Record Run 2018

It's time we got around better! That means faster, and that means more environmentally focused. Fortunately for Aotearoa/NZ, our best way forward is via electric vehicles. We are really well designed for electric vehicles (EV), due to all our renewable energy, and particularly electric motorbikes. They don't clog up our roads like cars, they get us quickly from A-B, and they're loads of fun! This Record run on the e-bike, a 2016 ZERO SR, has been in the planning stages for some time, but now is the time to make it happen. I will be riding the bike from Te Rerenga Wairua (Cape Reinga) to Murihiku (Bluff) over the 2018 Christmas break spreading EV 'gospel' and Holiday cheer, but I could really use your help! A lot of this technology is still pricey, and we need it YESTERDAY to help the environment deal with our CO2 and give our kids (and us) a chance. So early adopters like myself have an obligation to do what we can to lobby and act in ways that push up exposure and push down prices. My time is short, but so is my goal! Hope you can help and hope i see you along the way!

Done and Dusted! Thank you everyone for the massive support on the road, and the massive support in this pledgeme campaign! Not an easy thing to keep relevant and gather contributions over Christmas and New Years, but together we did it :)
Here's hoping in the new year more focus and pressure is put on to government which will benefit and assist the increased uptake of EV (electric vehicles) and reduce our carbon footprint and environmental impact. It's the future, but it can happen much sooner if electrified transport becomes mainstream accessible!
