I am a sports medicine doctor with a history of academic research. While researching the use of Artemisia annua in the use of mild to moderate joint arthritis. I discovered studies showing its benefit in the management of allergic asthma. I am looking for pledges to start importation and production of this unique plant based asthma treatment.

Artemisia annua is refined from the plant sweetwormwood. This is grown and ethically sourced from a farm in Tanzania and shipped to New Zealand in its raw form. The active ingredient is then refined using supercritical CO2 extraction in Nelson. This is the most natural way to obtain the active ingredient without the use of chemicals.

The Artemisia annua is then encapsulated in a soft gel capsule in order to ease digestion.

Previous research and a case study by myself have shown that there is a possible benefit from this plant in the management of allergic asthma.

This is not suitable for those that are pregnant or breast feeding, children or people with a history of liver disease.

Your pledges will be used to pay for manufacture of the first batch of this product. I expect to be able to send out the capsules within 2 months of completion of the pledge me raise.
