The ImpoSTAR!

Project 2012-10-25 00:31:52 +1300

For the people of Wellington to engage in a person that can give them a performance to remember. To give Wellingtonians a fantastic fun time. The Impostar is fun, hilarious and the over 30 impressions of famous people performed by Jason Chasland will blow them away.

The ImpoSTAR is a one man show. Jason shows off his skills and techniques as a performer. It’s more than a cabaret show; it is an impression tour de force. It is not only hilarious but it is jaw droppingly incredible because of the accuracy of his impressions. The great thing about The ImpoSTAR is that there is something for everyone. Music, comedy, impressions and a personal story of identity. The narrative in the show focuses on Jason’s growing awareness of his talent and his theatrical heroes. As a young man he shares his story wrapped up in amazing entertainment.

We want to provide a platform for Jason Chasland to show his incredible talent for impressions of famous people and to share this with Wellington. We will make Wellingtonians laugh. We will give them joy and because Jason is so astonishingly talented it will make Wellingtonians proud that yet again we have created, shared, nurtured and supported awesome talent.
