DAN SHARP'S NEW EP 'THE SLACK TIDE'

The past year has been one of huge growth for me as a songwriter and performer, as well as personally. I have had a lot of amazing opportunities that I am extremely grateful for.

I have played some really cool shows as both a headline act and as an opener for some really big NZ names. I got to record with one of my favourite artists and producers, Thomas Oliver, in his Wellington studio. I also was extremely stoked to spend 5 weeks writing songs in Europe and the UK with published writers there.

While overseas, Thomas Oliver (now living in Berlin) and I linked up again at his new studio and recorded the best of the new tracks. The result is a new EP, 'The Slack Tide', going to be released early in 2019. The songs are a MASSIVE step forward for me and after hundreds of listens I am still so proud of these tracks.

I have shown these new tracks to managers, publishers, artists and producers in NZ and overseas. Everyone is stoked with the songs and have said the same thing.

In short; get a world class team to help make this a world-class release!

This time around I need a professional PR firm to help get these tracks on the radio, on streaming playlists, and in front of reviewers and music blogs. I also need to get a really high quality video made to go with one of the upcoming singles.

I hate to say it but the only barrier in the way now is money.

Here is a breakdown of the remaining costs

• Mastering Costs $1000
• Video costs $2500
• CD printing costs $1000+
• Design expenses $500
• Total $10,000+

I am putting all of my resources I have (emotionally, financially, physically) into getting this project over the line and I am hoping this release will really make you all proud. Your support now will mean this music gets to you and anyone else who wants to hear to hear it, as soon as possible.
