Sounds For The South is a registered charity, set up to fundraise for the Christchurch Earthquake Appeal. Artists from around New Zealand and Europe donated their tracks to create our 15-track debut album, which have been pressed and are now available for purchase! 


Featuring the likes of Nathan King, Supermodel, Blacklist and Fleur Jack, there is definitely something for everyone on this album. Sounds For The South is run by volunteers, allowing costs to keep to an absolute minimum. We've spent the last year doing the hard work compiling the albums and have already made our first donation of $1,000 to the Christchurch Earthquake Appeal. The damage of the Christchurch Earthquakes was valued at a cost of $30 billion, so we are doing this as our little bit to chip in. 

We've got boxes of albums ready to ship out, so buy below to support a great cause. We're aiming to raise a minimum of $500 through this PledgeMe campaign, but ideally we hope to raise another $3,000. Christmas is coming, and what better gift than a charity compilation album? Just hours prior to the launch of this campaign, we made our first donation of $1,000 to the Christchurch Earthquake Appeal! It's a great feeling starting to forward the money off to Christchurch, so let's keep the ball rolling and work towards another donation by Xmas!
