Animal Sanctuary - A Book Of Toes

I am organising a fundraising project for HUHA animal sanctuary. HUHA is a charitable organisation that works everyday to rehome and provide foster care for abused, homeless and abandoned animals. They have rescued beagles from a research facility and has found them loving new homes. HUHA has helped rehome animals affected in the Christchurch earthquake and have given ex-circus animals a new chance of life in a natural environment at the sanctuary. These are just a few examples of all the wonderful things they do. If you would like to know more about HUHA you can check out their Facebook page HUHANZ.
In support of the animal sanctuary I have written a children's book featuring some of the animals and their toes. As the children read through the book they have to guess who the toes belong to. As each animal is revealed their story is told. I would like 100% of the proceeds from the sale of the book to go to the animals, therefore I need to raise $2000 to cover publishing costs. So here you find me at pledge me requesting help from all you lovely people out there. If more than $2000 is raised then I will be able to publish more books which means more money for the animals!

P.S I'm a preschool teacher so have road tested this book. It's really popular with the children, they love guessing whose toes they are. It's also teaching them about empathy for animals and lots of fun facts, such as, goats have no top teeth and pigs are clean, mud is their sunscreen : ) The book appeals to the children's natural sense of curiosity and we have great discussions about why Rodney the rooster's toes are not webbed like Jeffery the goose's. The book is a lot of fun with a very important message x

from the printers and are now ready to sell. Have a happy and safe Christmas and here's to a
fabulous 2013 filled with love, laughter and new adventures. P.S. Books are $20 if you would like a copy.

Hi everyone
I have finally received the sample book! It needs a few tweaks but otherwise it looks good. I should be in selling action soon : ) Once the books have been ordered I will be getting onto those rewards! If Tracey Newton views this update can she please get in touch with me as I have sent several emails with no luck. Thanks.

Hey lovely people the book has been sent to the printers for a sample to be made, unfortunately several of the pledges have fallen through, so fingers crossed second time round all credit cards are go! Hope to have the book on sale in time for Christmas!

We've done it! How awesome is this! I'm sure we are going to be able to do some wonderful things for the animals from the sale of the book, Yay.
Any extra money that is raised that is not needed for the printing costs will 100% go to HUHA, the lovely people at HUHA will let me know what is needed.
