Hello! I'm Lucy. I am a trained massage therapist (Wellpark College), an actor (Toi Whakaari), and an active member of the arts community here in Auckland.
A year ago I started Nicetouch, a humble and affordable massage service I've been operating from my home, largely for other artists in my community. Now it is time for me to take Nicetouch to a new professional level, to strengthen it as a company, and reach out and touch the rest of Auckland!
From June, Nicetouch will be operating from a cute wee spot in St Kevin's Arcade. There, it will continue to grow and develop as a business, and by collaborating with other artists and services, provide a space of creativity and wellness.
Being an artist myself, I understand what we demand of our bodies and I also recognise that times are tough. So, I've got your back! (literally). Massage has the ability to reset, de-stress, and help you reconnect with your body, and it is my goal, through Nicetouch, to make this service accessible and affordable for everybody. I will be offering Artist and student discounts, and have a range of variety of loyalty packages available to suit your needs.
With your help, I will be able to successfully relocate Nicetouch to St. Kevins Arcade, and set up a comfortable and safe space suitable for massage, and the other creative pop-ups the space will be housing.
Your kind donations will go towards:
- fitting out the space (deviding privacy curtain, desk, oils etc)
- promotion to strengthen the Nicetouch brand (website, advertising, business cards, flyers, sign, window decal etc)
- initial reloction costs
And what better way to be thanked than have your donations redeemed in dreamy massage minutes!
Achieving this project matters to me because it is SO important to find other ways to support each other in this community. I am lucky enough to have found a way to marry two of a biggest passions in a truly beneficial way, and now all that is required is the platform to let it it sing!
